Setting up access to applications or application categories is not available for iOS and macOS devices.
If you have previously set up access to an application regardless of its category, changing the access settings for the category of the application will not affect the previously specified settings.
To set up access for application categories:
Go to the Kids section.
Select the profile of the child.
Go to the Applications subsection.
Click the Settings button.
Make sure that the Application monitoring toggle switch is on. If the toggle switch is off, flip it on.
Click the Edit link in the section that describes how Kaspersky Safe Kids uses application categories.
In the Application categories window, perform one of the following actions for an application category:
To allow the child to access applications of the selected category, select Allowed in the drop-down list of this category.
To forbid the child from accessing applications of the selected category, select Forbidden in the drop-down list of this category.
Click the Save button.
Within a few minutes, the new settings are applied on the child's devices if they are connected to the Internet.
