You can use any of the following interfaces to work with Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server:

  • Command line interface
  • Web interface

The main window of the web interface contains the following items:

  • Management console tree in the left part of the main window of the program web interface.
  • Workspace in the right part of the main window of the program web interface.

The management console tree displays the sections of Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server and subsections of functional components of Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server.

Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server management console tree displays the following sections:

  • Monitoring—Section containing Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server monitoring data.
  • Rules—Section containing message processing rules.
  • Backup—Section containing information about message Backup and a filter for finding messages in Backup.
  • The Message Queue section contains information about working with message queues in KATA Quarantine and Anti-Spam Quarantine, as well as information on how to sort and filter messages in queue.
  • Reports—Section containing reports on the operation of the mail server.
  • Settings—Section that lets you configure Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server settings.

The workspace contains information about the sections that you select in the management console and control elements for editing the program settings.

Settings in the workspace of the main window are grouped into settings groups for sections that let you manage Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server settings.
