Configuring archive processing

When scanning for viruses, phishing, some legal programs that can be used by attackers and other threatening programs, by default Kaspersky Web Traffic Security unpacks archives into the /tmp/kwtstmp temporary directory. You can change the directory where the scanned archives are unpacked.

To configure a directory for archive unpacking:

1. Open the /var/opt/kaspersky/apps/2022 file in a text editor on a node of the cluster.
2. In the [paths] section, specify the path to the directory as the value of the tmp parameter.

   Example: tmp=</path/to/tmp/for/archives>

   Make sure the directory exists. You need to provide access to the directory to user kluser and group klusers.

3. Restart Kaspersky Web Traffic Security

Archives will be unpacked into the specified directory.
