Selecting an integration mode

The integration mode can be selected only when a KATA server has been added.

To select the mode of integration with KATA:

1. In the application web interface, select the Settings → External services → KATA integration section.
2. In the KATA integration mode settings group, enable the necessary integration mode by using the following toggle switches:
   • Receiving objects.

     Kaspersky Web Traffic Security will receive the objects detected by KATA and use the information about these objects in protection rules and in the default protection policy.

   • Uploading files.

     Kaspersky Web Traffic Security will be authorized as an external system in KATA. Files from the scanned user traffic that meet the defined criteria will be sent to KATA. Kaspersky Web Traffic Security will not wait for the results of scanning the sent files.

   These modes work independent of each other. You can enable one of the modes or both modes at the same time.

3. Click Save.

The mode of integration with KATA will be selected. Depending on the selected mode, the Nodes section displays information panes regarding the integration status.
